Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
Welcome to Smiling Unicorns. By booking our face painting/glitter tattoo and other event services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
Smiling Unicorns reserves the right to decline any client or service request at our discretion if we feel uncomfortable or if the request does not align with our values or business practices.

2. Booking and Payment
2.1. A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to secure your booking. Unfortunately, until the booking fee is received, we are unable to guarantee your request for a specific time/date.
2.2. The remaining balance is due on the day of the event before services commence.
2.3. There will be a flat charge of $20 for events that falls on a public holiday.
2.4. Once a booking is confirmed, the price at the time of the booking will be fixed and will not be subjected to any subsequent changes.
2.5. Unfortunately, without full booking details and a deposit, we will only be able to hold your slot for 2 hours.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling
3.1. The deposit is non-refundable in an event of cancellation and a 50% fee of the total booking cost will be imposed in an event of cancellation less than 5 days prior to the event.
3.2. Rescheduling is subject to availability. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange a new date within 90 days of the previous event. Any changes made less than 2 week prior to the event date is subjected to rescheduling fee of $30 per service.

4. Health and Safety
4.1. Face painting/glitter tattoos will only be performed on individuals with healthy skin. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone with skin conditions, wounds, or signs of illness.
4.2. We use products like TAG Body Art, Fusion Body Art, Body Color Cosmetics, Face Paints Australia and Superstar Paints. All products used are professional-grade, non-toxic, and FDA-approved for use on the skin. However, clients should inform us of any known allergies or sensitivities beforehand.
4.3. Face painting/glitter tattoo is not recommended for children under the age of 2.
4.4. Glitter tattoos are not to be placed on the face.

5. Conduct and Supervision
5.1. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times during the face painting session.
5.2. We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual who is disruptive, uncooperative, or exhibiting inappropriate behavior.

6. Liability
6.1. Smiling Unicorns is not responsible for any allergic reactions, skin irritations, or other adverse effects resulting from the face painting/glitter tattoo products used.
6.2. Parents/guardians are responsible for informing the artist of any allergies or sensitivities.

7. Photography and Media Release
7.1. With your consent, we may take photographs of the face painting during the event for promotional purposes. If you do not wish for photographs to be taken, please inform us in advance.

8. Use of Equipment and Materials
8.1. All materials and equipment used during the face painting session remain the property of Smiling Unicorns.
8.2. Clients are responsible for any damage to our equipment caused by misuse or negligence.

9. Satisfaction Guarantee
9.1. We strive to provide high-quality face painting services. If you are not satisfied with the service provided, please notify us immediately during the event so we can address any concerns.
